As Pastor Pat announced on January 13, 2008 OBC is establishing another campus. Our specific area of emphasis is the Bellevue, Offutt, Papillion, La Vista region. We recognize that there is a great need for expository preaching and biblical ministry in this area. This has become more evident to us in recent years through the large number of families who commute to Omaha for the teaching and ministry. No doubt this news is exciting to many of you who have been praying alongside of the elders for many years for an expository ministry to be established in Sarpy County.

Our simple agenda in going to a multi-site approach is to more effectively expand the impact of the ministry of the gospel in our region.  This same desire has calibrated the ministry focus of Omaha Bible Church ever since our early days as a church plant.  We are truly excited and eager to joyfully be used by God to promote his unsearchable greatness (Ps. 145.3).

The timeline for the South Campus is as follows:

• Phase 1  February, 2008: Transition of leadership into the Care Groups in Sarpy County.
• Phase 2  Summer  2008: Begin meeting on Sunday mornings at Bellevue West Hight School (map and directions), while continuing to emphasize and enhance the South Campus Care Groups.

Erik Raymond will be the South Campus lead pastor. In addition, Eric Ball, who has been a long time elder and one of the founding leaders of OBC, will be transferring to the South Campus to join Erik.
