Dear Friends of OBC,

On behalf of the community of believers here at Omaha Bible Church, I want to say welcome to our website.   I am glad that you have taken the time to visit us.  I hope that you will find this site helpful, informative and edifying.

OBC exists for the glory and pleasure of God.  This overarching objective of the church is integrated into everything we aim to do as a church.  We believe that God is glorified when we recognize His supremacy, His Son’s beauty, and His Word’s authority.  Therefore, we strive to bring glory to God through our lives both individually and corporately. 

We believe that the Bible teaches that God’s design is to save sinners from sin and its consequences, radically changing their lives, and to progressively conform them into the image of Jesus.  This is done through the faithful preaching and teaching of the Scripture.  This really helps us simplify things.  We work hard to faithfully handle God’s Word that He might be pleased to grow His people into the image of His Son. 

I would love the opportunity to meet you personally.  Even if you do not make OBC your home, it is our desire that you would be further impressed with the greatness of Jesus Christ through His work in and through this local church and that as a result you would be further encouraged to serve Him in a local church that passionately proclaims His truth.
