God’s high calling for the Christian woman starts with salvation and continues through sanctification. All throughout, God beckons us into His Throneroom to fellowship with Him through prayer. Come learn about how we can grow more dependent upon and intimate with our Heavenly Father through prayer.

Author and teacher, Carol Ruvolo will share her wisdom with us. Carol is a member of Covenant of Grace Church (OPC) in Albuquerque, NM, where she ministers to the women of the church as a Bible Teacher. Carol’s work emphasizes the joyous Christian privilege of striving to walk worthy of our high calling in Christ by learning to live in light of biblical principles. Who: Women (high school age and older).

      What:   Women’s retreat complete with study of God’s Word,
                 discussion groups, prayer, music, fellowship and lots of fun
                     activities.

        Where: Nebraska’s own Lied Lodge and Conference Center in
                Nebraska City, NE. For more information about the Lied

        When:   Friday, February 2 - Saturday, February 3, 2007. Room
                      check-in begins at 4:00 pm on Friday with retreat registration
                      from 5:00 - 6:00 pm. The dinner/meeting will begin at 6:15
                      pm. The retreat will end at 5:00 pm Saturday.

        Cost:     $104 per person all inclusive.* Price includes a cozy double
                      occupancy room with 2 full size beds, dinner on Friday,
                      breakfast and lunch on Saturday, snacks and beverages,
                      parking, and the use of all Lodge amenities. Other cost
                          options available are (all prices are per person):
                                        - 3 to a room: $92
                                      - 4 to a room: $86
                                        - Saturday Only: $30
                                          (includes lunch and all materials)

      Registration: Begins November 5 online and in-person in the
                      Fellowship Area. All payments must be made by January 15. Registration ends
                          January 15. Late registrations cannot be accepted. Full
                      refunds will be given up until December 10. Cancellations
                        after this date are non-refundable. You will need to indicate
                        any roommate preferences when you register.

Note to individuals with roommate preferences: Please make sure each woman in your room indicates her roommate preferences when she registers so that all women wishing to room together can be paired up appropriately.

*Scholarships are available upon request for OBC members in need of financial assistance.
